Position: Solar Electrician, Install LeadThe Solar Electrician,
Install Lead's primary responsibility is to install batteries on
existing solar systems. These installations must meet all
standards, quality, and performance. - Solar Electricians provide
excellent customer service, abide by all company safety regulations
and is familiar with standard electrical rules & diagrams. -As a
Solar Electrician, Install Lead you will:
Install and maintain battery storage
systems and EV chargers according to engineering designs, permits
and electrical code Complete site assessments, documenting all
necessary information to prepare for an installation Submit service
reports immediately following work order completion Collaborate
closely with manufacturers and engineering team to resolve
technical issues Utilize knowledge, skills, and electrical testing
equipment to commission systems and evaluate system issues Identify
solutions to resolve technical design problems, including
electrical systems used during construction Manage vehicle-material
stock and equipment inventory Maintain compliance with all safety
policies and practices Provide training to customers about system
operation and maintenance Manage and resolve customer concerns and
issues in a timely manner; communicate and documents progress to
customer and relevant internal employees Document key
communications in appropriate company software -Qualified
Candidates Must Have:
HS Diploma or GEDElectrical or C-10
License Ability to travel (overnight) 10% of the time (Per Diem
provided)1+ years' experience as an electrician, solar installer,
or solar maintenance technicianCurrent, valid Driver's license with
acceptable Motor Vehicle Report -Proficiency in speaking, reading
and writing English -Working knowledge of the NECExperience
reading, interpreting blueprints/schematics/wiring diagramsStrong
communication skills, both written and verbalComputer skills to
include MS Office SuiteAbility to meet physical requirements of the
job to include:Lift/carry up to 50lbs repeatedlySit, stand, walk
and drive for up to 8 hours at a timeReach, kneel, push, pull,
squat, crawl, bend, twist, climbRooftop workWork in various weather
