Anrok is building the tools that enable compliant digital commerce for companies of all sizes.Anrok connects billing and payment systems to automate sales tax compliance end-to-end. We have raised over $50M from leading investors like Sequoia, Index, and Khosla Ventures.As Anrok's first People Partner, you will build and oversee the people function during a critical growth phase. You'll establish processes from scratch to foster a high-performance work culture that promotes growth for each team member. This role offers an opportunity to shape the employee experience and build a world-class culture, reporting to the COO and collaborating closely with the leadership team.In this role, you will

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support our growth
• Manage employee performance, including establishing career frameworks, performance plans, and talent evaluations
• Partner with managers to improve team performance and address people-related matters
• Create and manage compensation frameworks aligned with market standards and company values
• Drive the success of Anrok's benefits program
• Support international employees with immigration and visa processes
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and cultural activities
• Lead company offsites and onsite events to strengthen team cohesion
• Advise leadership on people-related issues
• Establish HR systems and tools for efficient operations and data-driven decisions
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across all locationsWhat Excites Us

• 3-5 years of progressive People experience at a high-growth tech company
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance
• Experience with international immigration and visa support
