Manager and Medical Director*BONUS:* $1,000.00*VCA Bradshaw Animal
Hospital* is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician (RVT
preferred) to join our leadership team as Technician Supervisor.
This is a full time position. VCA Animal Hospitals offers a

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and
other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this
position is $66,560-72,000.*Location: * 9609 Bradshaw Rd, Elk
Grove, CA 95624_*Job Summary:*_ The RVT Supervisor provides direct
leadership support to all Technician team members. The RVT
Supervisor works closely with the Hospital Manager and Medical
Director to help with planning, directing, delegating, coordinating
and performing a variety of duties concerned with, but not limited
to, all technician and veterinary assistant team members including
training, assuring quality patient care, implementation of best
practices, performance reviews, and providing feedback on
candidates. The RVT Supervisor is also an example to the entire
hospital team and will routinely interact with the Professional
team, the Client Service Representative team, and our valued
clients.This role will include a combination of administrative
duties, technical duties as well as oversight of safety protocols,
and ensuring a professional and respectful team environment is
adhered to at all times. This hands-on role will involve working in
various areas of the hospital._*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*_*
Strong Customer service skills and ability to handle client
complaints* Knowledge of Human Resource policies and protocols*
Knowledge of financial budget parameters* Knowledge of sales and
marketing techniques* Good communication skills, both written and
oral.* Goal oriented* Ability to plan, organize and effectively
present ideas and concepts.* Ability to take information obtained
from clients, staff, and other sources, discern that which is
credible and assess the hospital and its operation objectively.*
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once, and deal with high
levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities.* Ability
to train and support staff in development goals.* Must have strong
medical skills* Provide compassionate nursing care for all
patients* Completing treatments for outpatient or hospitalized
patients* Venipuncture and IV catheter placement* Assisting
veterinarians with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia*
Triaging and stabilizing incoming emergency patients_*Education and
Experience:*_* High School Diploma.* Registered Technician status
or equivalent practice experience of at least 5
years_*Authority:*_* Assist in interviewing, hiring, training,
reviewing, scheduling, discipline, and in discharge of technical
staff._*Physical Requirements*_:* Dependable attendance is
required.* Any allergies to animals must be controllable through
medication.* Must be able to lift 40 pounds.* Visual acuity
sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and
understand written directions.* Ability to speak and hear
sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the
telephone.* Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing hospital
equipment such as electric clippers, syringes, radiology equipment,
