Position Summary

ALLDATA's Business Solutions Manager (BSM) is an inside sales role responsible for organizing, executing, and overseeing all sales activities within an assigned territory. The primary focus of this position is to reach out to automotive repair and/or collision shops in an effort to demonstrate and sell our product line. The BSM will have strong knowledge of ALLDATA's software products, software sales processes, policies, procedures, and how to work with cross-functional teams.

Position Responsibilities

  • Grow ALLDATA's customer base within a defined sales territory.
  • Attain and exceed sales goals for each period.
  • Facilitate online training for ALLDATA’s various product lines.
  • Utilize ALLDATA’s customer base in order to increase territory performance.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach; to include prospecting, discovery, and closing.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, resolve customer issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Drive critical measurements within customer satisfaction and retention goals.
  • Advise management regarding industry trends within the assigned territory.
  • On occasion, work nights and weekends at local tradeshows, partner, and customer events.
  • Development relationships with strategic distribution partners.
  • Highlight ALLDATA’s unique value propositions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Individual contributor - this position does not have direct reports.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); may include specialized or vocational courses. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • At least three years of direct sales experience. Preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of successful territory sales management in an autonomous work environment.
  • Able to type at least 30 words per minute.
  • At least two years of experience of with online meeting platforms.
  • Two years of experience with sales CRM programs; MS Dynamics preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Ability to operate common Internet web browsers.
  • A majority of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location.
  • The job has intermittent periods during which occasional physical exertion is required, such as walking, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment moderate weight (8 - 20 pounds).
