About the Role:
We are building the next-generation infrastructure and security platform, including scalable distributed data storage, application and service delivery platforms, and advanced search systems. Help us scale our infrastructure to support rapid growth and product usage.

CrowdStrike Falcon is a leading cloud-native cybersecurity platform processing trillions of events daily. You will have ownership of core components like Unified Search and shared architectural libraries, influencing all feature development teams.
What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable services.
  
• Enhance monitoring systems.
  
• Build and extend libraries for cross-cutting concerns across our platform.
  
• Continuously evaluate and improve architecture, performance, and stability.
  
• Contribute to open source projects.
  
• Promote best practices in software development, especially in Go.
  
• Collaborate across teams to brainstorm and implement solutions.
  
• Mentor colleagues on web, backend, and storage technologies.
  
• Update dependencies and security measures.
  
• Guide and learn about web security, authentication, and authorization strategies.
  
• Take ownership of deliverables as a proactive self-starter.
  
  What You'll Need:
  
  
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (access to AWS GovCloud resources).
  
• 7+ years experience in a backend service-oriented role.
  
• 5+ years experience with microservices in languages like Golang, Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, Node.js.
  
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  
• Expertise in Golang.
  
• Strong skills in scaling backend systems, sharding, and horizontal scaling.
  
• Passion for shipping high-quality, production-ready code.
  
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and scalability challenges.
  
• Team-oriented mindset and best practices in testing, code review, and resilient architecture.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  
  Bonus Points:
  
  
• Open source contributions (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).
  
• Experience with Go, Java, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
  
• Background in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.

  Position salary range: $135,000 - $215,000/year + variable incentives, equity, benefits.
