Job Description:

PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital rehabilitation, is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role involves assisting occupational therapists in providing intense rehabilitation treatments that help patients regain independence following surgery, injury, or illness. The preferred candidate will be passionate about patient care and have a strong understanding of therapeutic practices aimed at physical recovery. Assist in the implementation of rehabilitation programs designed by occupational therapists Work directly with patients to teach and implement exercises and daily living skills Document patient progress and report back to the occupational therapist Maintain equipment and treatment areas Ensure all practices adhere to confidentiality and safety regulations Strong interpersonal communication skills Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in documentation Capability in handling physical therapy equipment Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure required CPR certified
