Job Description Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Davis, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Davis, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Apply today and a recruiter will reach out with details. /n /n Minimum Requirements /n - Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. - Active California COTA license required to start the assignment. - BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. If required by the client, BLS must be current prior to start. - Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting preferred. - Experience treating geriatric patients and providing ADL retraining, restorative programs, and fall prevention interventions preferred. - Ability to follow plan of care and document in electronic health record. Experience with facility EHR systems preferred. - Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and demonstrate effective communication with patients and family members. /n /n Assignment Details /n - Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. - Shift Name: Days. - Shift Schedule: 5 days per week. - Float Requirement: Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed. /n /n Location Highlights /n Davis, CA offers a balanced suburban and college-town lifestyle with close proximity to outdoor recreation.
