Physical Therapist Location: Truckee, CA Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $2,259 to $2,459 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join our traveling Physical Therapist team in Truckee, CA, working in an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a mountain community. Apply now and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. No new graduates. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy or similar settings preferred. (Preferred) Experience with outpatient evaluation, plan of care development, goal writing, and functional treatment interventions required. Proficiency in timely and accurate clinical documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry, required. Ability to supervise or mentor students and coordinate discipline-specific therapy services preferred. (Preferred) Adherence to state practice act, professional licensure in good standing, and completion of state-mandated continuing education required. Assignment Details Facility type: Outpatient clinic. Assignment duration: 13 Week contract. Schedule: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week). Full-time, 40 hours per week. Additional Job Information Evaluates assigned patients, develops and modifies individualized treatment plans, and documents care in compliance with clinic and regulatory requirements. Responsible for delegating and directing discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Promotes patient and employee safety and follows established safe patient handling and workplace safety protocols. Participates in performance improvement activities and professional development planning with clinical management. May be expected to participate in student supervision and mentorship as assigned.
