Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support student needs within a school setting in Los Banos, CA. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions designed to improve students functional abilities, participation, and independence in educational environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with pediatric populations and possess the skills necessary to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support integrated service delivery and achieve educational goals Document treatment plans, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school district and regulatory requirements Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise toward student goal planning Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials appropriate for practicing in California Experience providing OT services in a school environment with pediatric clients Knowledge of educational laws, including IDEA and Section 504 accommodations Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning environments Location: Los Banos, California Job Type: Contract School Setting This position offers the opportunity to impact childrens educational and developmental progress through targeted occupational therapy support.
