Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy, serving K-12 students with mild to severe needs. This contract position is located in Clearlake, CA, and offers the chance to work with a manageable caseload of under 50 students, supporting their developmental and educational progress through targeted occupational therapy interventions. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students across K-12 with varying levels of need, from mild to severe. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assess student needs and create customized therapy plans that promote functional participation in academic and daily activities. Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to achieve goals. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings. Knowledge of therapy techniques and interventions suitable for K-12 students. Ability to manage a caseload of under 50 students effectively. Familiarity with IEP development and educational team collaboration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and staff.
