Job Description CARDIOVASCULAR SURGEON- Sacramento, California Cardiac Surgeon Opportunity in Sacramento The Permanente Medical Group/Kaiser Permanente of Northern California seeks a cardiac surgeon to join the team in Sacramento, California which is one of three main cardiac surgery centers of excellence in Northern California. We are seeking a talented, ambitious, and team oriented candidate. Prior experience of 2-3 years is highly preferred, but all qualified candidates will be considered. Must be ABTS Board Certified or Board Eligible. Full-time position This opportunity is open because we have a senior surgeon retiring from the group in 2026. We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiovascular Surgeons preferably skilled and proficient in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), aortic surgery, and heart failure surgery (at this location we are not seeking surgeons requiring/seeking LVAD procedures) Experience preferred and surgeons completing training in 2025/2026 are also encouraged to apply Our Surgical Staff at Sacramento is composed of 4 Cardiovascular Surgeons Call is 1 in 4 A FEW REASONS TO CONSIDER A PRACTICE WITH TPMG: Work-life balance focused practice, including flexible schedules and unmatched practice support.
