Role Overview In this crucial position, you will perform complex surgeries across cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular disciplines, including open-heart and thoracic procedures. You will be integral in supporting ER trauma call coverage, with urgent open case dates from March 11 to March 18. Your expertise in managing all three specialties will ensure high-quality outcomes for critically ill patients. Required Skills Proven experience in open-heart surgery and thoracic procedures Competency in vascular surgeries Ability to handle high-acuity trauma cases efficiently Strong communication and teamwork skills Current surgical license and board certification in relevant specialties Nice to Have Skills Experience working in a trauma or emergency setting Familiarity with advanced surgical techniques and technologies Multispecialty surgical certification or additional subspecialty training Ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical scenarios Preferred Education and Experience MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of a residency in General Surgery with fellowship training in Cardiothoracic or Vascular Surgery Minimum of 3 years of surgical experience post-fellowship in relevant specialties Proven track record in high-volume trauma centers or similar environments Other Requirements Availability to cover open trauma cases from March 11 to March 18 Willingness to participate in thoracic and cardiovascular call rotations Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Life Support (ATLS), preferred Ability to obtain necessary medical licenses and credentials This is your chance to join a prestigious team delivering life-saving surgical care.
