Job Description We are currently looking for a board certified orthopedic surgeon to join our well-respected practice within the multispecialty network known as BASS Medical Group in Lafayette, CA (East Bay - San Francisco Bay Area). - Our team includes 1 board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulders, 5 physical therapists, and a tenured support staff comprised of medical assistants and scribes - Our practice is looking to grow with the addition of a general orthopedic surgeon, sports specialist, or upper extremity specialist - The incoming surgeon will have operating privileges at John Muir Walnut Creek and several local ambulatory surgery centers - Offering competitive compensation and complete benefits, as well as an early partnership offering with no buy-in and stock options in the surgery centers - Our practice is part of BASS Medical Group, which is a well-established network comprised of 465 providers across 42 medical specialties About the San Francisco Bay Area: - The San Francisco Bay Area is home to many of Californias largest cities, the famous Silicon and Napa Valleys, beaches, and mountains, offering a wide range of lifestyles that blend urban and suburban amenities - Lafayette is found in the heart of the East Bay, near major transportation arteries, and is a hub for residents seeking a balance of suburban tranquility and convenient access to Bay Area cities. - Located in the East Bay, Lafayette is 15 miles from Oakland and 25 miles from San Francisco, and offers a tranquil suburban lifestyle with top-rated public schools, scenic trails, and a charming downtown area, all while maintaining convenient access to both San Francisco and Walnut Creek. Beginning with approximately 50 doctors in the Walnut Creek area in 2014, we have grown to 465 providers across 42 specialties in our 128 locations throughout Northern California, and look forward to expanding our reach in the future. Colorado, New York, New Jersey, California, Connecticut and Washington Residents Only: The salary for this role is $300,000 - $400,000for full-time in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.
