Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession:

Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience:
Minimum 1 year in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing
License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS
required Must-Have: Trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic
experience Description: Variable schedule, mainly 07:00 - 15:30,
with some shifts from 09:00 - 17:30. Applicants must have
experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing. Call
will be distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks. This
may include up to 6-8 shifts in a 6-week period, covering nights,
evenings, and weekends. Floating between like units is required.
Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays,
including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. References are
required, including a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering
the last year of employment. Travelers may be expected to float
between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in
termination of assignment. Candidates should investigate housing
options in the area, as availability may be limited. Modules are
non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent on them; over 20
hours requires manager approval. Completion of modules is
self-reported and recorded in transcripts.
