Busy ophthalmology practice is looking for a cataract/refractive surgeon. The new surgeon will be handed off a large volume of patients on arrival. The practice enjoys co-managing patients with optometrists in and out of the practice. This creates an opportunity for a new surgeon to eventually be in the OR two days per week. The practice has a goal of staying on the leading edge of emerging cataract and refractive technology and would like a new associate to have interest in the same. In utilizing this technology, it is imperative that surgeons have a customer service mindset towards patients. Surgery will be done in the state of the art, practice owned surgery center. It is equipped with a refractive suite as well. In clinic, the new associate will be supported by the practices continually trained support staff and be provided a scribe. Compensation will be a base salary with a production bonus with the expectation the new associate will easily bonus year one. A buy in will be offered to both the practice and surgery center.
