Position: Architectural Project Manager / Project Architect Location: Sacramento CA Division: Architectural Design and Planning of Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Retail, Civic, and Institutional projects Prestigious Architectural Design and Planning office seeking self-motivated, detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager or Project Architect to coordinate and manage the tasks and staff working on diverse range of architectural projects to meet quality and profitability expectations and to effectively manage the needs and concerns of our clients. The ideal Architectural Project Manager / Project Architect will have the following qualifications and experience: Bachelors degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, Engineering or related field (preferred not required) Five to ten years of architectural project management experience Licensed Architect is a plus (not required) Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Word, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Leadership, supervisory and personnel management skills Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both orally and in writing Positive can do attitude Ability to consistently meet deadlines Problem Solving skills The successful Architectural Project Manager / Project Architect will: Manage the day-to-day operations and activities of large-scale architectural projects. Coordinate the architectural staff assigned to projects to meet established schedules and budgets. Be an excellent communicator. Have proven management abilities. Be responsible for all aspects of the architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration including project accounting and reporting. Demonstrate expert working knowledge of building and accessibility codes, construction types and construction techniques.
