Recruiting for an Assistant Engineer (Civil or Mechanical Engineering) for a Sacramento county organization in the Elk Grove, CA area. This is a long-term contract position that is onsite, and the pay rate range is $32.55-$35.65/hr w2. Essential Experience/Abilities/Knowledge: Bachelor---s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Solid understanding of civil and mechanical engineering principles Read civil and mechanical drawings Experienced using Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) such as Maximo Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new methods and programs Proficient in MS Word and Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Desired Experience/Abilities/Knowledge: EIT licensure in the State of California or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire Familiar with MS Visio, Project, PowerPoint, GIS and CAD Some experience with database management Some experience with industrial equipment Familiar with maintenance programs such as preventive and predictive maintenance Job Duties: Perform related duties as assigned Prepare reports, memos, drawings, figures and other visual aids Participate in the development, rollout and training of maintenance manage programs Update sections of the Standard Maintenance Practices manual Use Maximo to process MCRs and DCNs and update maintenance data as assigned Processes various request for data and information Report data management problems to business analysts We are actively interviewing APPLY NOW
